The cucumber diet is ideal for all who hate to think too much about eating while on a diet because the diet plan is very simple: there are only a few foods that are consumed, and the diet itself is carried out for ten days. There is an extended variant of 14 days where really good results are noticed: a loss of 7 kg – certainly depending on the level of physical activity.
How does the cucumber diet look like?
The basis of this diet is cucumber salad that can be consumed in unlimited quantities whenever you feel hungry. Salad is rich in nutrients and you do not have to worry that something will be missing during the ten-day regime. The remaining groceries that are eaten during the day are:
– 2 boiled eggs or 150 g of tuna drained from oil or 150 g of white meat of barbecue.
– 2 large boiled potatoes (can be boiled, oven-stove but not fried in oil) or 3 pieces of whole bread.
– 500 grams of fresh locally grown fruit.
Drinking plain water is made from liquids, and tea is also allowed (without sugar). Soft drinks, alcohol and sweets are strictly forbidden.
With each meal as well as between meals – you can eat unlimited quantities of cucumber salad (see the recipe below) or drink a cucumber shake – it means when a hunger strikes you freely tilt the salad or shake (see the recipe below on the page ).
Example of a daily menu:
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs + a bowl of cucumber salad
Snack: 5 plums or one more apple or peach … or some other seasonal fruit with a total weight of 200 g
Lunch: Tested integral bread + bowl of cucumber salad
Snack: cucumber shake (see the recipe at the end of the text)
Dinner: Fruits of choice (up to 300 gr)
Do not forget: If you are hungry between meals (and even between dinner and meal), you can consume unlimited quantities of cucumber salad.
How to prepare cucumber salad …
Salad prepares quickly and is very simple. Necessary groceries are:
– about 400 g of cucumbers
– 2 dl sour milk or yoghurt (which has a home kefir can use – digestion will be more than grateful)
– salt and if you want a young cucumber or onion
Method of preparation:
Peel and chop cucumbers into small pieces. Mix well, mix easily, soak it and pour over with sour milk, yoghurt or kefir, and then stir again. If desired and taste add finely chopped young onions or garlic and … immediately serve.
In a blender put: a young cucumber (along with the bark – of course well washed), one hand well washed spinach, one sour apple. If desired, add a little grated fresh ginger or ginger powder. Well blend it, sprinkle it in a glass and top with nuts or almonds. Drink slowly while fresh, because if you stand longer – it loses nutrients.
This drink will supply your body with an abundance of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A and K. The beverage is also rich in fiber, magnesium, iron, vitamins C, E and B as well as calcium and potassium. Aim the spectrum of everything we need all in one cup.
Although this is a very simple diet, you need to pay attention to the quality of the foods – use only fresh vegetables and fruits from a trusted supplier.
Moderate physical activity is an important thing in every diet and even this half-hour quick walk (it’s the hiking when you start sweating) – it will significantly help to lose weight.
