Hair loss is very common condition in men but in women to. What causes this unpleasant situation?
For men, loosing hair usually is connected to baldness, which is an hereditary process, but sometimes other circumstances can lead to hair loss in both sexes, and those are:hormonal imbalance (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism), stress, iron deficiency, bad nutrition, some skin conditions (seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal infections), excessive use of chemicals (to much shampoo, dyeing, drying with maximum heat, using to much hair spray and hair gel) or a medical condition called Alopecia areata. The last one is an autoimmune disorder and usually begins with small bold spots on the scalp or on other part with hair,and may be a temporary or permanent condition.
Diets can also be a reason for hair loss. Any kind of diet is a stressful process for your body and very often protein deficiency appears which leads to hair loss. Zinc deficiency and vitamins of B group deficiency may also be a cause for this problem.
Loosing to much weight may change the menstrual cycle in women and cause hair loss.Women may also lose hair after birth, because the level of female hormones suddenly drops down and this cause the hair loss, but this is a reverse process. There is also a seasonal hair loss, affects mostly women in late autumn and in spring months, and fortunately doesn’t last for a long time.
If you suffer from this problem, first find the reason for your hair loss, consult your dermatologist or doctor for the eventual therapy, which may consist of taking vitamins, minerals or hormones, and avoid using shampoos for hair loss, but instead of it try stop your hair loss with natural remedies.
Try some of our suggestions to prevent hair loss naturally:
1. MAKE YOUR OWN SHAMPOO
Use 500ml of some natural baby shampoo, add 100ml d-panthenol ( pro vitamin B5), 1 bottle of 25ml vitamin D drops for babies and 10ml St.John’s wort oil. Mix well and use this shampoo for regular washing.
2. WASHING HAIR WITH CAMOMILE OR STINGING NETTLE TEA
After you wash your hair with your regular shampoo(we recommend you the previous recipe), at the end rinse it with camomile or stinging nettle tea. For preparation of tea use 1l boiled water and 4 tablespoons of dry camomile or nettle leaves.
3. STINGING NETTLE THERAPY
In 1 liter (4cups) of boiled water put 500g of fresh stinging nettle leaves, cover with a lid and wait for half an hour. After, strain the tea in a bottle and add 200ml of castor oil. Before using this mixture, shake well, and after rub your hair roots 3 times a day during one week. Thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties of nettle’s leaves, very soon you’ll notice improvement in scalp and hair!
4. YEAST HAIR MASK
Mix: 3 tablespoons of hot milk, 3 tablespoons honey or sugar and 50g of fresh yeast. Leave the mixture on warm place for 15-20min. to enable the fermentation of yeast and after add 2 egg yolks. Mix until you get a homogeneous mixture and apply the mask on clean, wet hair. Wrap your hair with plastic bag and let the mask soak in for 60min. You can add some castor oil or olive oil in the mixture, especially if your hair is long and you need more mask. After, wash your hair only with water and hair conditioner! Wrapping is necessary to provide optimal conditions for yeast growth, which feeds your hair with proteins, vitamins and minerals.
5. MASSAGE WITH NOURISHING OILS
This is always a good choice, because the massage itself increase the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates the hair growth, has also relaxing effects and reduce the stress hormones allowing your body to function more efficiently including hair follicles that grow hair. You can use any of next oils because they are all reach with vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants that will certainly reduce your inflammation, dandruff or other hair issue you have. Your hair will be stronger,shiny and healthy!
